Our client, a reputable food service provider, is seeking a Prep Cook and Prep Cook Lead to join their team. You will be part of the kitchen operations supporting the culinary team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Prep Cook
Location: Elmsford, NY
Pay Range: 18-20.00/hr., based on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm

What's the Job?
Prepare ingredients and set up workstations for line cooks, including washing, chopping, and portioning produce, meats, and cheeses
Make sauces and dressings, ensuring quality and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Follow recipes accurately and manage inventory to ensure smooth service
Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing storage areas
What's Needed?
Requires previous Prep Cook experience
Ability to work early mornings and adhere to scheduled hours
Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment
Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Prep Cook Lead
Location: Elmsford, NY
Pay Range: 20-21.00/hr., based on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 12pm-9pm
Temp-Perm Opportunity
What's the Job?
Prepare ingredients and set up workstations for line cooks, including washing, chopping, and portioning produce, meats, and cheeses
Make sauces and dressings, ensuring all recipes are followed accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
Manage inventory and stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients using FIFO principles
Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks such as dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning equipment
What's Needed?
Requires previous Prep Cook experience, working in a Lead role
Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols diligently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Criminal background check required (7-year statewide and county checks)
