Materion Services Inc. Skilled Electrician Technician in Elmore, Ohio
As a Skilled Electrician (Electrician A), you will be a member of the department's operating team and will be responsible for operating/using complex electrical tools, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. For External Hires: $1500 Sign-on bonus paid out in two increments as follows: $750 paid out at 30 days, $750 paid out at 90 days.
Pay Range: $35.78 to $45.14
Starting Pay Rate dependent on the candidate's level of education, skills/abilities, and job knowledge/experience.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Work from circuit diagrams and SOP's, when available, and recommends alterations to Lead Electrician or other appropriate departmental personnel.
- May be asked to assume duties of Lead Electrician when absent.
- Recognize operational irregularities on equipment of processes, accurately determines the cause and takes appropriate corrective actions.
Assist Lead Electrician with providing training to other departmental personnel/apprentices/co-ops/2YD.
REQUIREMENTS: ?
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-year degree in electrical controls or electronics.
- Must have 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience.
- Must have completed at least five years of industrial electrical maintenance work or relevant military experience.
- A completed approved four-year apprentice program will also be considered.
- Shift work is mandatory.
