This role executes technical tasks that improve tooling, fixturing, setups, reliability, and machine performance. The Technician supports CNC troubleshooting, data collection, new process deployment, and daily floor support to ensure safe and reliable machining operations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily CNC Production Support * Provide first-response troubleshooting for machining issues, offsets, probe errors, and tooling adjustments. * Support standardized work, setup sheets, and work instructions. * Assist in implementing engineering changes, improvement actions, and new fixtures.Tooling, Fixtures, and Equipment * Assemble, modify, and maintain tooling, fixtures, gauges, and probes. * Track tool life and consumable usage; support tooling inventory control. * Build prototype fixtures and aids using prints, CAD models, or Engineering direction. * Assist in equipment installations, prove-outs, testing, and reliability improvements.CNC Process Support * Collect machining data for spindle utilization, cycle time, tool wear, and scrap. * Support SMED, 5S, TPM, and other Lean/CI initiatives. * Perform basic capability checks and SPC measurements.Continuous Improvement * Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions. * Assist in reducing downtime, scrap, and variation in machining processes.New Product Support * Support prototype builds and trial runs. * Provide manufacturability feedback and implement ECO/ECN changes. * Assist with operator training for new setups, fixtures, or machines.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: * Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology OR equivalent hands-on CNC/machining experience. * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production support role, preferably in heavy industry (e.g., metal fabrication, forging, machining, casting). * Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment and manufacturing methods. * Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. * Hands-on experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and data acquisition tools. * Knowledge of manufacturing software systems (e.g
