As a Security Officer - Residential Complex in Queens , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location in New York. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to routine concerns with professionalism and customer service. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, common areas, loading and maintenance zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, directing visitors to appropriate destinations and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate shift updates to oncoming personnel, and report maintenance concerns observed during patrols through designated channels.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
