Best Pet Supplies, LLC Import Coordinator (Bilingual) in Elmhurst, New York
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import Specialist to join our logistics team at 235 Pinelawn Rd, Melville, NY 11747. This role is essential in coordinating ocean freight shipments, managing documentation, tracking inventory and serving as the primary liaison for teams in both the US and overseas.
Responsibilities - Communicate in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English - Schedule, track and trace freight while proactively communicating status to internal teams. - Coordinate and manage all aspects of import shipments, including documentation, customs clearance and transportation scheduling. - Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Monitor inventory levels of all imported goods through a proprietary system. - Consolidate cargo from overseas to match fluctuating inventory needs - Maintain documentation and records, both digital and physical.
