Job Description:
Overview
Join the Strategic PMO team at The Boyd Group and gain hands-on experience supporting key business initiatives and operational improvement efforts. This internship offers exposure to strategic planning, data analysis, and executive-level reporting within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
You will support strategic initiatives by helping manage reports, analyze data, and contribute to tools that drive business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in business operations, strategy, and project management.

What You’ll Do
Support strategic initiatives and operational improvement efforts
Assist in managing and updating reports using Excel and Google Sheets
Analyze data and help identify trends to support decision-making
Help prepare presentations and materials for senior leadership
Contribute to the development of tools and reporting processes
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or interest in operations, supply chain, or business strategy
Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools
Comfortable presenting or communicating insights
Internship Setup
Location: Elmhurst, IL (Hybrid)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday) and 2 days remote
Duration: 10 weeks (May 18 – July 24, 2026)
Mentorship: Direct support from the Strategic PMO team
