Job Description:
Overview
Join the Procurement team at The Boyd Group and gain hands-on experience supporting data-driven purchasing and supply chain initiatives. This internship offers exposure to procurement strategy, data analysis, and vendor performance insights within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
You will support analytics projects across both direct and indirect purchasing, helping the team make informed decisions that drive cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in supply chain, business analytics, or finance.

What You’ll Do
Support analytics projects related to direct and indirect procurement
Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiencies
Assist in building and maintaining reports using Excel, SQL, or other tools
Support vendor performance tracking and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data
Contribute to process improvements within procurement operations
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, or related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience or coursework in data analysis
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools
Exposure to financial analysis or procurement/supply chain concepts
Interest in analytics-driven decision-making
Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability

Compensation Details:
Internship Setup
Location: Elmhurst, IL (Hybrid)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid schedule (aligned with team needs)
Duration: 12 weeks (May 18 – August 7, 2026)
Mentorship: Direct support from the Procurement team
