Actalent CNC Engineer in Elmhurst, Illinois
Responsibilities
Split responsibilities between 50% programming and 50% machining, depending on project load.
Assist with estimating and quoting, verifying the accuracy of time and cost on customer quotes.
Familiarize with outside processing of parts.
Be accountable for meeting deadlines with flexibility if work is completed.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in machining and programming (not an operator role).
Strong proficiency in Mastercam, including the ability to load, read, and modify programs.
Solid understanding of tooling, fixturing, machining strategy, and program optimization.
Experience with SolidWorks is preferred, though secondary to strong Mastercam skills.
Knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing engineering.
Experience in design and manufacturing environments, particularly in aerospace, medical, and dental markets.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
