Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Provide hands‑on support for laptop refresh and migration activities, including device setup, configuration, and deployment
· Assist end users with the transition from legacy equipment to new laptops, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
· Perform hardware provisioning, imaging, asset tagging, and equipment tracking
· Coordinate with internal IT teams to ensure timely delivery, replacement, and return of equipment
· Document activities, issues, and resolutions using established ITSM tools and processes
· Maintain accurate asset management records, including inventory updates and device assignments
· Provide on‑site and/or desk‑side support to end users as needed
· Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams following standard support procedures
· Adhere to company policies, security standards, and deployment timelines throughout the migration effort.
A client of Insight Global is seeking support on their End User Computing (EUC) team to assist with a large‑scale laptop migration across North America. In this role, you will work closely with IT leadership, project managers, and end users to facilitate the transition from legacy equipment to new hardware. Skills and Requirements
· Understanding of basic Cloud concepts
· Basic understanding of IT Service Management processes
· Excellent analytical and judgment skills, experience with different operating systems such as Windows 11, Windows 10, MACOS, Apple iOS and Android · Strong interest in media and telecommunications
· Technical interest in computers, operating systems, and mobile devices
· Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage users at all levels of the organization
