Manufacturing Team Lead
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Team Lead, where you will demonstrate commitment to and leadership in environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures. You will oversee a team of 5-9 employees, providing the necessary support and development to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate commitment to environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
Maintain an optimal span of control of team members, typically numbering around 5-9 employees.
Provide adequate support, training, and development to improve safety, 6S, quality, cost, and efficiency.
Set, monitor, and meet daily production goals and report daily metrics.
Ensure shifts and breaks start and end on time while communicating and engaging the team to meet daily production requirements.
Lead the team in a production environment and conduct daily safety meetings.
Implement, audit, and ensure the use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operate within the framework of all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, and safety procedures.
Participate in all required Environmental, Health & Safety training events and discussions.
Perform machining and production processes while providing adequate coverage.
Work with respective teams and departments to troubleshoot, prioritize, and solve problems.
Utilize Lean tools to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
Contribute to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment, and a positive work environment.
Perform other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field with 3 years of previous manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Proven record in the field of experience with professionalism and integrity.
Strong teamwork and proactive cooperation skills.
Good time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Experience with FMEAs, SPC, Control Plans, 8D, and other quality tools.
Competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrated ability to recognize and work with Permission to Play Values.

Work Environment
Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility that is temperature controlled. The role involves working on D Shift from Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a shift differential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellabell, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $37.50/hr.
