*SUMMARY: *Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a Restaurant Server for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.
*MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: *
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- S trong communications skills
- Liquor card required
- Basic computer knowledge and cash handling skills
- Knowledge of Infogenesis and Patron systems helpful
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
- Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Familiarity with all menu items, menu prices and hours of operation and promotions
- Maintain a clean work area, professional appearance, and present positive customer service techniques
- Ensures consistency and quality
- Provide service to guests while dining
- Assist Busser in pre-bussing of tables
- Set up or close of wait station
- Clean stations and tables
- Complete daily side work
- Assist guests with questions regarding activities on the property
- Practice TIPS awareness and the responsible serving of alcohol
