Amergis Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) '26/'27 School Year in Elk Grove, California

Now hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based positions supporting K–12 students in Elk Grove for the 2026–2027 school year.This school-based SLP role offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, providing evaluations and therapy services that support communication, language development, and academic success.

Location: Elk Grove, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (40 hours/week) | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $3,000–$4,000 per week ($75–$100/hour equivalent), depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support school districts in the Elk Grove, CA area. In this school-based role, you will conduct student evaluations and provide individualized, evidence-based therapy services in alignment with each student’s IEP and plan of care.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and academic success.

This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position includes:

• Performing comprehensive speech and language evaluations

• Delivering and documenting student-centered therapy services

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs)

• Collaborating with educators, families, and school teams

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license

• CCC-SLP preferred (may be required based on district/assignment)

• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) in some placements

• Compliance with all professional standards and state/federal regulations

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)

• Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
