UVM Health Network- Elizabeth Community Hospital Dietary Assistant Med/Surg in ELIZABETHTOWN, New York
The Dietary Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day nutrition of meals for the hospital population including visitors and guests. This includes the provision of special diets, restrictions and meals prescribed by the dietitian or therapists. Qualifications / Job Requirements:Education / Skills Required:* Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.* Must be able to exercise sound judgement.* Ability to relate to peers and supervisors in a friendly and respectful manner.* Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written.* Experience in food service and quantity cooking.* Working knowledge of safe food handling practices.* Ability to complete records and reports.* Graduate of high school or equivalent.The University of Vermont Health Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
