Dynamic Medication Aide Instructor with a Registered Nurse (RN) license to join our educational team. Responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive medication aide training programs, ensuring that aspiring medication aides are well-prepared to provide safe and effective patient care. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals by combining clinical knowledge with engaging instructional techniques. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and update curriculum materials for medication aide training courses, incorporating best practices in adult education and learning technology. Deliver engaging classroom instruction using platforms such as Blackboard and LMS (Learning Management System) tools to facilitate interactive learning experiences. Review documentation such as care plans, medication records, and competency assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Conduct research on current trends in nursing education, medication management, and healthcare technology to continuously improve instructional content. Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and written exams; provide constructive feedback to support their professional growth. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and competency evaluations in accordance with accreditation standards. Qualifications: Valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) Attended Train to Trainer Workshop for Medication Aide: (Health care Association Of New Jersey (HCANJ) continuing education Certification.) Prior teaching or training experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) preferred, but not required Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success.
