Logistics Coordinator
Elizabeth, NJ
Compensation Includes
- Starting Pay Rate of $21.63 - 26/hour
Overview
Responsible for setting up delivery appointments and customer pickups. Notifying customer service representative and warehouse team if there are any discrepancies with shipments. Must have Microsoft Office knowledge.
Responsibilities
Set up delivery and customer pick up appointments
Confirm inventory on product before shipping
Respond to email in a timely manner
Assist Warehouse Supervisors with the assignments for the Forklift drivers and other duties
Assist Warehouse Supervisors on any tasks needed
Request carriers for pre-loaded shipments and entering loads into TMS
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
Regular contact with other employees, Supervisors and Managers
Make decisions about how to correct situations and errors. Should keep Warehouse Supervisor informed of progress
Qualifications
Reading, writing, and basic math skills are needed for this job
Must be computer literate. Must have knowledge of Microsoft AX, Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be able to problem-solve to make sure that customers are satisfied
Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management
Knowledge of Forklifts
Self-managing organization and time management skills
High School diploma or GED
Must be familiar with computer programs including Microsoft AX, Word, Excel, and Outlook
