Aegis is currently partnering with a local manufacturing company in Elgin to identify a Purchasing Clerk to join their growing team!
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and services to meet production schedules.
- Manage full purchase order lifecycle within an ERP systemfrom creation to receipt to reconciliation.
- Verify that all purchased materials meet required tolerances and expiration guidelines.
What Success Looks Like:
- Independently prioritizing daily purchasing tasks.
- Ensuring materials arrive on time and within spec.
- Maintaining error-free PO documentation from start to finish.
Requirments:
- 1+ year of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Dynamics, Fishbowl, etc.).
- Experience creating POs, receiving goods, reconciling invoices, and tracking lots/expirations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
