Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in supporting machine operators and maintaining an efficient workspace.
Responsibilities
Aid and assist machine operators by bringing materials to the equipment.
Maintain a sense of urgency while working safely in a fast-paced environment.
Limit scrap waste, deliver waste to the appropriate department when necessary, and accurately tag for waste reporting.
Perform minor janitorial tasks such as sweeping floors and taking out the garbage.
Essential Skills
2 years of high-speed package operating experience.
Proficiency in reading a measuring tape and ruler, and using basic shop math.
Ability to work effectively in a high-speed packaging environment, with a focus on packaging and labeling.
Capacity to work with a sense of urgency without compromising quality.
Comfortable with lifting up to 60 lbs. throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
