Wells Fargo Merchant Services Account Manager in EL SEGUNDO, California

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Merchant Services Account Manager who is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with merchant services clients. In this role, you will:

  • Provide strategic account management for a designated portfolio of customers in the payments processing industry, delivering deep subject matter expertise and high-touch servicing to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Achieve companywide business objectives, including the annual revenue plan at target margins; by maintaining and growing existing relationships, identifying incremental business and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction

  • Establish and maintain a sound internal partnerships with respective teams through on-going collaboration and communication

  • Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews and analysis on strategic client relationships, as well as provide compelling industry updates to support client’s merchant processing environment.

  • Guide Merchants through complex projects and compliance mandates

  • Be a subject matter expert (and stay updated) on all merchant services products and the associated processes to support them.

  • Act as a principal point of contact for all servicing and operational matters to internal partners, and as the primary servicing contact for the client relationship on behalf of Merchant Services

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Merchant Services Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preferred previous merchant services acquiring experience

  • Experience presenting complex information to prospects and clients

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • College degree or equivalent

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5%

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range:

  • $68,000-$125,000 Annually

  • The salary range is determined by the location of the job

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
