Overview
The Manager, Analytics & Insights supports the execution of analytics strategy and measurement for a Spark Foundry client account, partnering closely with Associate Directors and Directors to deliver high‑quality analysis, reporting, and insights across media, creative, and audience initiatives. This role focuses on hands‑on analysis, consistent measurement execution, and translating data into clear findings that support campaign optimization and performance evaluation across the campaign lifecycle.
Embedded within the broader Data & Analytics organization, the Manager operates as part of an integrated analytics team, collaborating with Media Strategy, Planning, Investment, Creative, and Audience Strategy partners. Success in this role is defined by analytical rigor, attention to detail, reliability of delivery, and the ability to clearly communicate insights under the guidance of senior analytics leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analytics Strategy & Media Performance Support
Execute global data analysis and reporting to support media plans, investment decisions, and optimization efforts across brand and performance campaigns.
Owns execution of assigned analyses within defined workstreams, with accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and analytical rigor.
Analyze campaign performance drivers and business outcomes, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the development of insights that inform media strategy, creative approaches, and customer experience.
- Measurement Planning Support
Assist in translating campaign objectives and audience strategies into measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures.
Support the development of analytically testable hypotheses in partnership with senior analytics and audience teams.
Ensure measurement requirements are clearly documented and reflected in reporting deliverables.
- Measurement Frameworks, Attribution & Test Support
Execute components of holistic measurement frameworks that track digital and offline marketing performance.
Support test‑and‑learn initiatives through data preparation, analysis, and results summarization.
Apply established attribution and measurement outputs (e.g., attribution reports, lift studies, MMM outputs) to inform analysis and optimization recommendations.
- Analysis & Insight Development
Conduct analyses including campaign performance reviews, audience profiling, funnel analysis, and competitive assessment.
Monitor performance trends and flag potential optimization opportunities or data quality issues.
Translate analytical outputs into clear summaries, charts, and narratives for internal and client‑facing materials.
- Creative Effectiveness Support
Analyze creative performance across formats, messages, and placements to identify engagement and conversion patterns.
Support creative measurement efforts in partnership with Media and Creative teams.
Document creative learnings to inform future campaign planning and iteration.
- Data, Technology & Measurement Support
Support implementation and ongoing use of analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
Partner with analytics, technology, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Follow established best practices for data validation, documentation, and reporting hygiene.
- Client & Team Collaboration
Support recurring reporting deliverables, performance readouts, and insight development.
Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners to meet timelines and deliverables.
Communicate findings clearly and proactively, escalating questions or issues to senior team members as needed.
- Learning & Development
Participate in training and enablement initiatives to strengthen analytics and measurement capabilities.
Apply best practices, templates, and frameworks to ensure consistent execution.
Support a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous improvement within the analytics team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in analytics or data‑driven roles within a media agency, advertising agency, consulting environment, market research firm, or in‑house brand team.
Working knowledge of media and marketing measurement, including delivery metrics, performance metrics, website analytics, and business outcomes.
Experience analyzing performance across digital and/or offline channels such as search, social, programmatic, display, video, streaming, or TV.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience interpreting data and drawing insights.
Experience working with datasets across paid, owned, and/or offline sources.
Ability to clearly communicate findings through dashboards, presentations, and written analysis.
Tools & Platforms:
Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Datorama, or similar platforms
Strong working knowledge of Excel and presentation tools (PowerPoint or equivalent)
Familiarity with media and ad platforms across search, social, programmatic, display, video, and streaming environments
Familiarity with web and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics or similar)
Exposure to outputs from measurement solutions such as brand lift, sales lift, attribution, or marketing mix modeling

Compensation Range: $88,540- $135,632 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
