Unilever Associate Community Manager in El Segundo, California
The Community Manager oversees Murad’s day-to-day community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms. This role serves as the brand voice in conversation, driving loyalty, education, and two-way communication with consumers. The ideal candidate is highly responsive, culturally fluent, and able to turn insights from consumer interactions into actionable learnings for the broader team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all daily brand interactions across comments, DMs, duets, stitches, and replies
Maintain a consistent brand voice while responding quickly and thoughtfully
Develop proactive community engagement strategies to drive loyalty and advocacy
Surface consumer insights, sentiment trends, and recurring questions for cross-functional teams
Support social listening and flag potential issues or opportunities early
Partner with Social and Influencer Relations to amplify creator and UGC content
Identify and engage with superfans, communities, and high-value conversation moments
Track community health metrics, including sentiment, engagement velocity, and retention
Job Requirements
3–5 years of community management or social media experience
Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice
Highly organized, responsive, and culturally aware
Comfortable managing high-volume online conversations
Understanding of trends, memes, creator culture, and emerging community platforms
Passion for skincare, consumer engagement, and brand storytelling

The expected base salary for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors, including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
