Job Title: VDC/BIM SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a skilled VDC/BIM Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and management of 3D/4D BIM models. The ideal candidate will work closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage 3D/4D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and other VDC tools.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project goals.
Perform clash detection and lead resolution meetings with stakeholders.
Generate construction visualizations and simulations to support planning and sequencing.
Maintain model integrity and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Support field teams with model-based workflows and digital coordination.
Essential Skills
7-10 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the AEC industry.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other modeling tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with data center or mission-critical projects is a strong plus.
Ability to work on-site in El Paso, TX, with openness to travel.
2+ years construction or related experience preferred.
7+ years VDC/BIM-related experience.
Experience with data centers, construction, architecture, electrical, construction documents, rendering, and clash detection.
Work Environment
This position is based in El Paso, Texas, and candidates should be willing to travel to El Paso or be local candidates. The project may span multiple years, providing a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Paso, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $58.00/hr.
