Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business
The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. Job Summary: Field Project Manager leads the execution and delivery of large-scale data center infrastructure projects within enterprise and hyperscale environments. This role oversees the installation of structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, and low-voltage systems while leading field teams and subcontractors. The position works closely with engineering, network, and construction partners to ensure deployments meet design specifications, industry standards, project schedules, and operational reliability requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage field deployment of data center infrastructure including structured copper and fiber cabling, backbone fiber systems, rack connectivity, pathway systems, access control, and network installations.
Lead field technicians and subcontractors, coordinating installation activities across data halls, distribution areas, and network infrastructure spaces.
Interpret construction and technical documentation including IFC drawings, rack elevations, pathway layouts, and fiber routing diagrams.
Coordinate project schedules, installation sequencing, and resource planning with construction teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee materials staging, logistics, and installation equipment to support project execution.
Monitor project performance including labor utilization, schedule milestones, and cost controls.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA), safety requirements, and customer data center design standards.
Support system testing, commissioning, and project closeout including documentation, test results, and final customer acceptance.
Serve as the primary field liaison between customers, contractors, engineering teams, and project leadership.
Additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and objectives of the role.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing infrastructure, structured cabling, or low-voltage deployments with field leadership on large construction or data center projects.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber infrastructure, and data center network environments.
Experience interpreting construction drawings, technical documentation and managing subcontractors in multi-trade environments.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications:
BICSI RCDD or Technician certification.
PMP certification.
Manufacturer certifications (e.g., CommScope, Corning).
Experience supporting hyperscale data center deployments or DCIM systems.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of power tools will be required to effectively perform this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet)

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.

Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
