Device Repair Technician Duties:
Complete training to become certified technician
Communicate with customer to understand what is wrong with device
Complete intake form with information from customer and visual inspection of the device
Follow detailed instructions per training for each repair
Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices
Notify customer when repair is complete
Complete exit form with customer to ensure satisfactory repair
Monitor parts inventory and notify manager when parts are needed
Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Device Repair Technician Qualifications:
Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent
Computer proficiency
Demonstrated technical aptitude
Able to quickly understand new processes and technologies
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written. Strong customer service focus
This position requires the employee to regularly use hands to handle or touch electronic products
This position requires lifting 10-20# on a regular and frequent basis, 50#+ on an occasional basis
