Education:Registered Dental Hygienist
Language: English required (Spanish is a plus) to communicate with patients and staff.
- Bilingual is preferred.
Driver's License: Not a factor
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Dental Hygienist License required
- Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a dental office setting.
- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology related to dental procedures is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- A passion for promoting oral health and enhancing patient experiences through exceptional care.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures efficiently.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient treatment plans, medical histories, and progress notes accurately in the dental office systems.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques to provide high-quality care.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records using Eaglesoft or similar software.
Shift: 32 - 34 per week
