Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for energetic and compassionate SPED Behavioral Technicians to support students across Los Angeles-area schools this upcoming school year. If you love helping students thrive, believe in positive reinforcement, and enjoy being part of a school team—you’ll fit right in!
What You’ll Be Doing
Support students with special needs in the classroom and school setting
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of teachers and specialists
Use positive behavior strategies and reinforcement to encourage success
Assist students with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills
Collect data and document student progress
Collaborate with SPED teachers, school staff, and related service providers
Help create a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment
? What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience working with children or adolescents preferred (school, behavioral, ABA, childcare, etc.)
Knowledge of behavior support strategies or willingness to learn
Patience, positivity, and a passion for helping students succeed
Ability to follow behavior plans and work as part of a school team
CPI, RBT, or ABA experience is a plus—but not required
