Amergis Hiring School Aides - Weekly Pay Up to $22/hr DOE in El Monte, California
School Aides Needed – El Monte, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Pay: $18–$21/hour (DOE) Start Date: ASAP
We’re hiring School Aides to support students throughout the school day in a collaborative, inclusive school environment. This role works closely with the special education team, classroom teachers, and other school staff to ensure students receive the instructional, behavioral, and personal-care support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
Assist students with classroom activities, behavior plans, and daily routines
Support teachers and specialists with instructional and behavioral strategies
Provide personal care or mobility assistance when required
Help maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment
Communicate effectively with staff regarding student needs and progress
Follow all school, district, and program guidelines
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow professional standards and directions
CPR certification (if required)
TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (as required)
Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
