Kelly Services Maintenance Technician in El Dorado Hills, California
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Eldorado Hills, CA
Schedule: Rotating Biweekly Shifts (6pm–6am or 6am–6pm)
Must be able to train on the Day Shift
Pay: $28–$31 per hour, DOE
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
About the Role:
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at a growing print & mail distribution company. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time opportunity designed for candidates eager to develop their skills and advance in the business. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right!
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting issues
Respond promptly to technical support calls to ensure timely resolution
Accurately log all support calls and parts usage in the technician tracking system (e.g., FIIX)
Install electrical wiring, controls, and repair computer hardware for production equipment
Relocate and support installation of new and existing production equipment
Track parts usage and collaborate with management and Inventory Analyst for inventory needs
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Provide feedback for performance appraisals of junior technicians
Maintain compliance with OSHA/EPA maintenance records, using appropriate databases
Consistently adhere to all safety guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational education a plus
Strong basic mechanical experience required
Preferred: Vendor/equipment repair certification or experience with at least one major platform (e.g., Blue Crest, National Presort, Pitney Bowes, Bell & Howell, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.)
Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., print management systems, MS Office, desktop publishing, FIIX, Oracle)
Familiarity with MS Windows, MS-DOS, MAC/OS, computer networks, and data storage
Prior production environment experience and equipment repair proficiency
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to take direction and work effectively under time constraints
