Resideo Account Manager (Trade) - South East Region (m/f) in EINDHOVEN, Netherlands

At Resideo, the Account Manager Trade is responsible for achieving sales growth and margin targets across a defined portfolio of trade accounts, including installers, housing associations, consultants, and wholesalers. Reporting directly to the Country Sales Leader Netherlands & Managing Director, this role plays a key part in strengthening long-term customer relationships and expanding Resideo’s presence in the Dutch market.

You will join a high-performing, customer-focused, and highly motivated sales team, driven by commercial excellence, sustainable growth, and profitability. Together, the team works with passion and professionalism to deliver value for customers and exceed business objectives.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Sales Strategy: Identify growth opportunities and proactively assess competitive threats to protect and strengthen Resideo’s market position in the Netherlands.

  • Formulating improvements in product/market combinations and profiling the organization and its products in the market, focusing on the development and profitability of the product range.

  • Initiate and develop strategic partnerships with key (large-scale) organizations across the Netherlands to drive long-term growth and market penetration.

  • Sales Planning and Forecasting: Define clear sales and marketing objectives, translate them into actionable plans, and deliver accurate regional sales forecasts. Ensure alignment with management objectives and business priorities.

  • Sales Execution & Process Management: Manage and monitor sales activities and performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks in the sales process, and address operational challenges impacting results.

  • Support the sales team in fostering contacts that add value to the customer and lay the foundation for a profitable and lasting relationship. Build and maintain relationships with major accounts and prospects.

  • Management Reports: Review sales and marketing performance in relation to objectives. Analyze trends and assess causes for deviations from objectives. Formulate improvements in product sales and marketing.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a sales or key account management role, preferably within a related technical or trade-driven industry.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage complex decision-making units (DMUs) and build strategic, long-term relationships.

  • Ability to optimize organizational results, function in a matrix organization in a consultative, coaching and directing way.

  • Ability to achieve results through the transfer of sales strategies, plans and management reports.

  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within the Netherlands.

  • Works through personal commitment to an excellent team spirit understanding within the department, with fellow salespeople and above all customers.

  • The ability to provide commercially and technically sound advice that creates value for customers and supports sustainable growth.

  • A professional attitude characterized by enthusiasm, flexibility, reliability, and strong commercial awareness.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
