Job Title: Professional Scheduler -- Oil & Gas Services

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Professional Scheduler to support our oil and gas services operations. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing more than 3,000 service occurrences annually, ensuring efficient routing, timely execution, and clear communication across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts quickly to changing conditions, and takes full ownership of scheduling accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily, weekly, and long-term service activities across multiple crews and locations.
  • Manage frequent schedule changes and route adjustments throughout the day based on operational needs, customer requirements, and field conditions.
  • Communicate continuously with field supervisors to confirm schedules, address changes, and resolve conflicts in real time.
  • Work closely with multiple client companies, each with unique requirements, priorities, and expectations.
  • Proactively identify scheduling risks, conflicts, or inefficiencies and implement timely solutions.
  • Notify field personnel and supervisors immediately of schedule updates, delays, or changes.
  • Provide accurate, timely updates and reports to management regarding schedules and operational impacts.
  • Maintain detailed and organized scheduling records to support operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Demonstrate professionalism when working with a wide range of personality types, both internally and externally.
  • Take ownership of scheduling outcomes and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in high-volume scheduling, logistics, dispatching, or operations coordination (oil & gas services preferred).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-pressure, rapidly changing environments.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust priorities and schedules throughout the day.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple companies, stakeholders, and differing requirements.
  • Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Coachable, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient with scheduling systems, routing tools, and standard office software.
