Eaton Corporation Outside Sales Representative in Edmonton, Alberta

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This on-site position that is based out of our Edmonton, AB Eaton location and requires travel to customer sites. We offer benefits from day one and a company vehicle.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $79000 - $99000 a year.

What will you do?

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling and supporting our electrical products, assemblies, and services to customers in Northern Alberta. This is a professional sales role focused on achieving sales goals, supporting channel sales efforts, and exceeding customer expectations. The emphasis is on growing profitable order volume across all product lines while expanding Eaton’s presence in the marketplace. This position coordinates and implements overall sales initiatives for an assigned customer base. The Outside Sales Representative manages all aspects of the business relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to customers, consultants, and channel.

Sales – Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve orders and sales goals. Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities, communicate such information internally to drive corrective strategies. Promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.

Collaboration – Achieve team Orders and Sales goals. Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations.

Customer Relationships – Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships. Provide technical assistance to customers, consultants, and channel. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins. Maintain opportunity database, provide input on monthly sales forecasts based on negotiation activity and customer/channel feedback.

Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 3 years technical experience in the electrical industry

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

• Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship

• Valid and unrestricted drivers licence

Preferred Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the electrical industry

• P Eng. or CET designation, Business Degree
