At Enbridge, our Engineers play an instrumental role in keeping the pipeline safe and reliable for our customers from coast to coast.
In this role, you will ensure integrity on critical liquids pipeline infrastructure is maintained by applying both field and office-based corrosion prevention strategies. This position is responsible for execution a corrosion prevention program, including technical reviews and reporting on corrosion prevention designs and integrity assessments.

What You Will Do:
Project execution management of the inspection, maintenance, and upgrading of external corrosion prevention systems, including cathodic protection and atmospheric corrosion surveys.
Evaluate and make technical recommendations on the corrosion prevention data in accordance with company standards and recommended practices.
Develop and maintain technically supported and transparently defensible monitoring/mitigation plans to control the external corrosion threat on the Liquids Pipeline systems.
Accountable to ensure corrosion control records are detailed and maintained according to Enbridge and regulatory guidelines.
Lead the corrosion document management process to continue to improve the corrosion program.
Manage contractor performance including the review of proposals and issuance of contracts for corrosion survey/maintenance programs and maintain contractual relationships with corrosion service providers. You'll also manage applicable OPEX budgets including vendor PO forecasting and reporting, requisitions, and budget management.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
4+ years of oil and/or gas pipeline industry related experience with a detailed knowledge of corrosion theory, electrical principles, cathodic protection design, installation, commissioning, testing, and performance evaluation including in systems affected by interfering conditions.
Minium of AMPP CP2 certification or demonstrated equivalent.
Project management and budgeting experience working on large-scale, complex oil pipeline projects and/or process improvement initiatives.
Proficiency using American Innovations Pipeline Compliance System (PCS) is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Office based environment.
Occasional travel to other Enbridge offices, field locations and to suppliers/vendor sites, up to 10%.
Ability to travel to the United States. Valid passport is required.
There are times when working beyond normal business hours might be needed.
