Why Work Here?
You join a tight-knit team that operates more like a family than a large general contractor, where people know each other and support one another on and off the job. The company actively invests in your growth, providing training and certifications tailored to your career goals and the specific work you perform. You benefit from a structured rewards and recognition program, including awards with gift cards for safety and teamwork, as well as recognition for exemplary performance. Extended benefits are provided through a merit-based contractors plan, supporting your health and well-being. The organization values camaraderie and celebrates success with events such as Christmas parties and staff barbecues. You have the opportunity to take on out-of-town assignments if desired and to earn additional income through frequent overtime during the busy season, with clear overtime policies and the potential for premium pay on night shifts.
Work Environment
The standard shift runs from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
During the busy season, you typically work 50–60 hours per week, with overtime accumulating after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week, and overtime work on Saturdays is common.
Most projects are in town, with approximately 90% local work and about 10% out-of-town assignments that include a daily per diem.
With the nature of concrete pouring, long days and occasional night or overnight shifts can occur to meet project deadlines, and night shifts may include an hourly premium.
You perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and must be prepared to work in all weather conditions that permit the pouring of concrete. The work involves regular use of hand and power tools, formwork systems such as Peri and Camlock, and handling of concrete materials, rebar, and related equipment, all within a safety-focused, team-oriented site culture.
