Technical Safety Services Field Service Technician IV in Edison, New Jersey

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be out in the field every day — visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and staying on the move, this is the job for you.
Your Day-to-Day Environment
Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory
Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle
Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day
What You'll Take Ownership Of
Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.
Test and certify medical gas systems and perform environmental monitoring services.
Complete field documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Mentor and train junior technicians in the field.
Lead projects and complex scopes of work, coordinating across a team of technicians.
Travel to facilities across the NJ/NYC region

What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus)
Requires 4 years of relevant experience, including training and mentoring lower-level employees.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work
ASSE 6010, 6030, or 6040 strongly preferred
Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
