Employer: Shah Dent LLC (DBA: Signature Smiles) Worksite: 1 Ethel Road, Suite 101B, Edison, NJ 08817 County: Middlesex County Job Title: Dental Laboratory Technician SOC Code: 51-9081.00 Job Description: Dental Laboratory Technician needed to perform specialized dental laboratory work involving digital and manual fabrication of dental prosthetics. Duties include: Operate and maintain CAD/CAM dental systems including TRIOS scanner and ICAM for digital impressions and design. Prepare and process zirconia and ceramic restorations using Ceramill Matik Amann Girrbach and Ceramill Therm 3. Apply finishing and glazing techniques using VITA glaze furnace. Operate and calibrate Dental Fab 3D printers for production of dentures and dental devices. Perform detailed painting and shading of zirconia and 3D restorations. Maintain accurate laboratory records, production tracking, and case documentation. Follow quality control standards and laboratory safety procedures. Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure timely case completion.
Minimum Requirements: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 24 months as Dental Laboratory Technician Special Skills: oCAD/CAM systems including (TRIOS, ICAM) oCeramill systems and zirconia processing oVITA glaze furnace oDental 3D printing technology oDenture shading and finishing oBasic administrative and record-keeping skills oFamiliarity with Excel or lab management software
Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Schedule may vary.
Wage: $71,011.00 per year (prevailing wage)
