Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Trade Marketing Analyst serves as the administrator and subject-matter expert for Crystal Farms’ Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software (Blue Planner/Up Clear), while providing analytical support across trade spend, promotional performance, compliance, and forecasting. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Sales, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing to improve trade effectiveness and governance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Trade Promotion Management Ownership

  • Serve as system administrator for the TPM platform, including user set-up, customer configuration, pricing, accruals, and system maintenance

  • Partner with the TPM vendor to manage enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and submit support tickets

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity between TPM and ERP systems, in collaboration with Accounting and Finance

Trade Analysis and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain recurring trade, promotion, and volume performance reports at both account and total-company levels

  • Analyze promotion performance to identify gaps between planned vs. actual spend, volume, and ROI

  • Support post-event analysis and reconciliation of billing and deductions

Trade Governance & Compliance

  • Monitor promotional activity for adherence to approved pricing guidelines, and support follow-up actions by Sales, Finance, and Trade leadership

  • Assist in strengthening trade governance processes and documentation

  • Ad hoc department responsibilities at the direction of the Senior Director of Sales, Director of Marketing and Trade & Revenue Growth Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Finance or related field.

  • 2-4 years business experience in trade marketing, sales analytics, finance, or CPG-related analytical roles

  • Experience working with software-as-a-service (SaaS) vendors, and managing SaaS systems

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel

  • High attention to detail and strong data management skills

  • Experience in the CPG or food industry

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial accrual processes

  • Experience supporting trade governance or post-event analysis

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

The pay range for this position is $61,205 - $85,688 per year.
