Chimera Enterprises International Senior Logistics Specialist / Supply and Service Support Representative (CARA) in Edgewood, Maryland

Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a highly capable Supply and Service Support Representative (SSSR) to provide on-site logistics and sustainment support to the 20th CBRNE Command’s Analytical and Remediation Activity (CARA) and .

This role serves as the on-site lead responsible for coordinating and executing logistics, maintenance, and asset management activities in support of mission-critical laboratory and field equipment. The SSSR will operate within Army logistics systems and work alongside Government personnel to ensure equipment readiness, accountability, and operational continuity.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)

  • Prior experience supporting CBRN, EOD, or laboratory-based operations

  • Experience working within DoD or Army logistics environments

  • Demonstrated experience with GCSS-A or similar logistics systems

  • Knowledge of:

  • Property accountability and inventory control

  • Supply chain and maintenance coordination processes

  • Experience supporting equipment sustainment, maintenance, or calibration programs

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a mission-driven environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with:

  • AR 710-2 (Supply Policy)

  • AR 735-5 (Property Accountability)

  • TMDE and calibration workflows

  • Experience supporting deployed or expeditionary units

  • Background in logistics, supply chain management, or maintenance operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site lead for logistics and sustainment support activities

  • Utilize GCSS-A as the system of record for:

  • Property accountability

  • Inventory management

  • Maintenance tracking

  • Supply requisitions

  • Maintain and manage a Logistics Information System (LIS) to track:

  • Consumables and shelf-life

  • Equipment status and history

  • Warranty and maintenance data

  • Perform supply chain functions including:

  • Request, receipt, storage, inventory, issuance, and turn-in of equipment and supplies

  • Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and repair actions:

  • Work with OEM vendors and TMDE processes

  • Track work orders and service status

  • Conduct and document pre- and post-deployment equipment assessments

  • Prepare and deliver required reports, including:

  • Monthly Status Reports (MSR)

  • Asset visibility and readiness reporting

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of logistics data across systems

  • Coordinate movement of equipment between facilities and vendors

  • Maintain accountability for Government equipment throughout its lifecycle

  • Support audits, inventories, and property accountability requirements
