Robert Half Rebate Analyst in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Description

We are looking for a Rebate Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role focuses on rebate disbursement and payment operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for an assigned client portfolio. As part of a collaborative environment, you’ll engage with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, analyze variances, and drive process improvements. This is a long-term contract position offering stability and growth within the health insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end rebate disbursement processes for assigned client portfolios, ensuring compliance with contract terms.

• Interpret and apply client contracts to payment disbursement operations.

• Execute rebate payments through designated systems, meeting accuracy and timeliness standards.

• Conduct root cause analysis and identify process inefficiencies to recommend and implement improvements.

• Collaborate with Quality Control, Analytics, Billing, Legal, and Client Management teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

• Respond to internal and external inquiries by conducting independent research and providing clear communication.

• Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and address them effectively.

• Support ad hoc initiatives and financial reporting tasks as needed.

• Act as a subject matter expert on rebate terms and disbursement processes.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills and SQL to analyze data and optimize operation

Requirements • Proven experience in financial operations, payment processing, or rebate management.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform variance analysis and root cause investigations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions; experience with SQL is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines.

• Clear and effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and addressing inquiries.

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and a track record of driving efficiency.

• Knowledge of contract interpretation and application within financial operations.

• Experience working in the health insurance or related industries is a plus.
