Actalent QA Analyst in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

As a QA Analyst, you’ll be a key contributor in ensuring our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and compliance. Your work will support a diverse portfolio of products—including beauty, skincare, and cleaning detergents—offering a dynamic and engaging environment with plenty of opportunities to learn.

What You’ll Do

  • Review Production Batch Records to support a world‑class manufacturing control program, emphasizing accuracy and strong training practices.

  • Verify that all documentation meets GDP standards and complies with current SOPs, Work Instructions, and testing procedures.

  • Train and support manufacturing personnel on quality and regulatory expectations.

  • Act as a technical resource on processes and procedures to help teams improve performance.

  • Champion a culture of quality through communication, collaboration, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Document and investigate deviations and OOS (out‑of‑spec) findings to identify root causes and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure product quality specifications and customer standards are consistently met.

  • Approve batches to run when needed and ensure proper documentation and escalation of quality events.

  • Manage and maintain reference standards, product standards, and updated test methods.

  • Use data-driven insights to focus improvement efforts and uphold regulatory and customer requirements.

  • Support and maintain "lean action" initiatives, including waste elimination and 5S practices across the department.

What You Bring

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field

  • Experience: 1–2+ years in Quality or QA within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, or similar regulated industries

  • Strong analytical skills, excellent documentation practices, and a proactive mindset

Work Environment & Training

  • Training Schedule: First shift (6 AM–2 PM) for two weeks

  • Regular Shift: Third shift (10 PM–6 AM) with a $1/hr differential

  • Expect to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor ensuring equipment readiness, cleanliness, and compliance

  • Desk-based tasks include batch record reviews, documentation, and support with investigations

  • Optional weekend overtime available

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
