QA Analyst

Job Description

Join our team as a QA Analyst and contribute to the success of our customers by ensuring quality through the auditing of facilities and production lines, evaluation of raw materials, and continuous improvement efforts. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards and compliance with regulatory requirements, while fostering a culture of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform reviews of Production Batch Records to maintain a world-class manufacturing control program, focusing on training and accuracy.

  • Ensure documentation records are accurate and comply with GDP requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with current SOPs, Work Instructions, and test procedures.

  • Train personnel to improve compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

  • Provide technical, process direction, and training to manufacturing personnel.

  • Utilize interpersonal skills to create a culture of quality and increase quality awareness.

  • Document and investigate deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) situations.

  • Ensure that SOPs, Work Instructions, controlled forms, and test methods are updated proactively.

  • Ensure product quality specifications and customer standards are met and maintained.

  • Complete approvals to run as needed and ensure quality events are properly documented and escalated.

  • Ensure products meet specifications prior to release and maintain reference and product standards.

  • Utilize data to focus improvement efforts and ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Accurately record data and pertinent information, document OOS situations, determine root cause, and suggest solutions.

  • Maintain compliance with current regulatory expectations and practices.

  • Understand and maintain a culture of 'lean action' within the department.

  • Implement and maintain standards and processes that eliminate waste and apply 'lean tools' for improvements.

  • Institutionalize 5-S in all aspects of the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field is preferred.

  • 1-2+ years of quality and/or QA experience from pharmaceutical, medical device, or cosmetics industries.

Work Environment

This role operates on a Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM shift at the Eden Prairie site, with a $1/HR differential for third shift. Candidates will train on the first shift from 6 AM to 2 PM for two weeks before transitioning to their designated shift. The position involves spending most of the time on the manufacturing floor to ensure equipment efficiency and cleanliness, and also includes desk work for reviewing batch records and assisting with investigations. There is an option for voluntary overtime on weekends. The environment is diverse, offering exposure to a wide range of products including beauty, skincare, and cleaning detergents.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
