We’re looking for an Associate Operations Representative to help manage the day‑to‑day flow of shipments, support customers and carriers, and ensure smooth execution across our transportation network. Job Description

The Associate Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing daily operational tasks related to shipment management, customer and carrier communication, and system data accuracy. This role focuses on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, supporting end-to-end transportation processes while adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily transportation-related tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency, in accordance with company policies and SOPs.

  • Provide shipment information to customers and carriers.

  • Create and activate orders and shipments.

  • Build and assign loads within transportation management systems.

  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments.

  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time execution.

  • Enter shipment events and complete invoicing functions accurately.

  • Monitor task boards and assigned email inboxes to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests.

  • Document shipment events using knowledge gained through SOPs and prior experience.

  • Follow defined escalation procedures when issues arise or additional support is required.

  • Follow through on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction and resolution.

  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems in accordance with company and customer standards.

  • Escalate questions, issues, or complex requests when appropriate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous customer service experience required

  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Prior customer service experience in a call center or similar environment preferred

  • Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Commitment to and appreciation for a diverse and inclusive work environment

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced, detail-oriented operational setting with frequent interaction with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Adherence to defined processes, escalation procedures, and quality standards is expected. The initial three-week schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12 am, in-office for training. Thereafter, remote work is an option with monthly in-office visits. Open schedule times include shifts from 11:30 pm to 8 am on various days, with flexibility for select roles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
