Lead the design, review, and approval of HVAC control drawings, schedules, submittals, sequences of operation, material lists, network layouts, electrical schematics, and as-built documentation. Select hardware from multiple control vendors and validate the quality and adequacy of supplies and installations. Develop and integrate advanced control system programs, ensuring seamless operation of complex building automation systems. Oversee and assist with commissioning of controls and associated equipment. Provide senior-level technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and field teams, driving quality, safety, and compliance with company standards. Collaborate closely with subcontractors, technicians, and mechanics to align on agreements and work scope. Serve as the primary escalation point and technical resource, offering expert guidance, coaching, and hands-on troubleshooting to resolve complex issues. Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the company in high-impact meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Support cost estimation and proposal development, providing technical recommendations and serving as a trusted advisor throughout all project phases.
