Highlights of the Role
Safety Leadership: Champion and enforce safety standards for the maintenance team.
Preventive Maintenance: Lead and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Team Development: Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance personnel.
Operational Excellence: Oversee maintenance planning, inventory, and CMMS utilization.
Continuous Improvement: Drive projects and initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
What You Offer
Leadership & Communication: 5 years minimum experience of leading a team. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical & Results-Oriented: Detail-focused, strategic thinker with proven problem-solving abilities.
Industrial Expertise: 5–7 years of heavy industry experience; wood products and team leadership preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Post-secondary education or trade certification (Millwright/Electrician) is an asset; skilled in CMMS and Microsoft Office.
Project & Safety Focus: Knowledge of preventative maintenance, safety regulations, and project management.
