Longs Peak Dairy LLC Robot Technician in Eaton, Colorado
Maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots automated milking systems to ensure efficient, safe, and hygienic milk production. Performs daily checks on robotic milking systems to ensure proper function. Conducts preventative maintenance and system calibrations according to manufacture guidelines. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues. Maintains detailed logs of maintenance activities and repairs.
Six (6) months related experience as an Animal Breeder, Agronomist or related occupation. Experience is required and must include: Repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting rotary milking system, including pulsators, valves, liners, sensors, hoses, and vacuum lines; Handling the manual cleaning and sanitation process management through the addition of chemicals to the vat, with specific pipe configurations for two separate procedures: one exclusively for the milk lines from the rotary parlor to the storage tanks, and another solely for the internal cleaning of the storage tanks; Detecting possible signs of mastitis, lameness, tail fractures, visible injuries, or other illnesses; and Diagnosing and functional checks of vacuum pumps, chillers, and other critical milking system components, ensuring continuous operation under sanitary standards.
