What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients at a technology campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, labs, common areas, loading and shipping zones, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access control points by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorization as directed and reporting access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, suspicious activity and/or workplace disruptions.
Document patrol findings, incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff and/or to client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
A Guard Card/License is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
