Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of production equipment, including processing and packaging machinery. Additionally, you will plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks to align with production needs.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness.
Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.
Adhere to all plant safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of new or relocated production equipment according to layout plans and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and modifications in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Essential Skills
Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, hydraulics, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Proficiency in industrial preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, including electrical and pneumatics.
Ability to read schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting and control.
Competence in electrical troubleshooting, including 3-phase systems.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes.

Work Environment

Shift options include a 2-8 hour shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM, or a 4-6 PM to 6 AM 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule, ensuring no more than three straight shifts without at least two days off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
