Our hotel is looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Techto join our team. This position is essential to keeping our property safe, clean, and fully operational for our guests. If you take pride in your work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and have general maintenance experience, we'd love to meet you.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to guest or staff maintenance requests. Experience in maintenance is required, but hotel-specific experience is NOT necessary we will train the right candidate on hotel procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repairs
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance checklists
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
- Assist with property upkeep, including grounds, pool, and building systems
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Follow safety procedures and hotel standards at all times
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience (hotel experience not required)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be available 5 days a week with on-call availability
- Must provide job references and have No restrictions
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
