Full Time Maintenance Tech Job Category: Facilities Services Requisition Number: HANDY004213 Full-Time On-site Easthampton, MA, USA Job Details Description MAINTAINS BUILDING ENVIRONMENT by sustaining building equipment, heating, cooling, electrical and plumbing systems. All departments of Lathrop Community are part of the resident experience, and therefore comfort with working with an aging population is a must. Must have basic working knowledge of related trades-crafts (plumbing, carpentry, electricity) and have interior and exterior painting skills. Must be capable of operating power tools in a safe & proper manner. Must have a valid driver\'s license and a driving record acceptable to our insurance company. You will be required to work on both Easthampton and Northampton campuses. Must be able to work alongside of other trades people; carpenter, electrician, plumber. Ability to climb, walk long distances, lift, push, pull, and carry weights from 60 pounds up to and in excess of 125 lbs. Exposure to mechanical equipment in potentially dangerous situations and the usual risks involved with using ladders, working at high elevations, dust and handling of job-related materials and supplies. Exposure to extreme outside temperatures sun exposure, frostbite. On call and overtime flexibility as needed is required. Lathrop promotes a diverse and inclusive employment experience.
