Second and Third Shift Openings
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare all materials and drawing dies by performing machine setup and basic measurement controls.
Operate machines by loading rod materials and semi-finished products in accordance with work instructions and company safety procedures.
Perform routine quality checks and promptly report any defects to the production technician and/or engineer.
Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly stacking empty and unused spools in designated areas.
Collaborate with technicians and management to make process adjustments when finished products do not meet laboratory testing requirements.
Review laboratory results from previous production runs and work in compliance with all quality and productivity standards, offering suggestions for improvement when appropriate.
Perform daily machine maintenance while using all energy sources responsibly and efficiently.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of machine operation experience
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and use hand tools for at least 8 hours per day
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is generally loud.
Employees may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or in elevated or precarious areas.
Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Steel-toe shoes are required.
