South Shore Community Action Council Teacher Assistant/Bus Monitor Preschool in East Wareham, Massachusetts
Core Duties: Develop and implement daily lessons & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Assist the Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform assistant teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring runs are required daily. Core Qualifications Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC teacher certification required. Associate or Bachelor degree in early childhood preferred, CDA considered. Must be able to speak and understand English. Minimum Requirements at employment: All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.
