Job Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Technician , you will take charge of performing routine line inspections and laboratory testing, collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure every product consistently exceeds customer expectations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Pay Range: $18.00- $27.00 /Hourly
Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine line inspections and laboratory testing to ensure product quality.
Follow established methods, SOPs, Quality Management System, and lab practice policies.
Observe safe work practices and proper safety precautions.
Collect and test samples in the lab using wet chemistry techniques.
Ensure all chemicals are properly labeled and compliant with plant labeling requirements.
Conduct sampling and compatibility testing to identify unlabeled or misidentified chemicals.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and laboratory testing.
Maintain lab equipment for precise and reliable measurements.
Audit production line components for correct material usage.
Monitor production batches for compliance with specifications and labeling accuracy.
Place materials on quality hold per SOP or management direction.
Assist fellow lab personnel to ensure timely completion of analyses.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
College-level courses in General Chemistry and Laboratory Chemistry preferred.
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with quality control experience.
Proficient in basic math, measurements, and data analysis.
Strong skills in data interpretation, reporting, problem-solving, and formulating solutions.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
